When you sign up for USA Datanet’s Hosted IP Communications Service, we will need to install only a few pieces of equipment on your premises to get you up and running. The installation of this equipment can be done quickly, and we will work with you to ensure a timely installation which fits in with your business operations.

To connect you to your dedicated broadband access connection, we will install a router/switch on your premises. This is a unique, all-in-one access platform that combines switch, router, WAN interface, and firewall with optional VPN and dial backup. These full-featured, industry-standard devices include management, Gigabit uplink capability, VLAN trunking, and other advanced features to ensure Quality of Service (QoS).

A analog adapter will be installed which converts a digital signal to an analog signal for use with your fax machine.

State-of-the-art IP phones will be installed at each designated location to give you superior features and functionality. When combined with the Hosted IP Communications platform, the control of the phone system becomes effortless, through an intuitive, easy-to-use web interface. Attractive to place on your desk, these multi-line IP speaker phones can also perform in full hands free mode.

As part of our standard installation, we will either use an existing POTS line or have you order a new one to connect to a standard analog phone that we will provide. This analog phone and POTS line will always be available in case of a total loss of power at your premise. In this instance of loss of power, this designated analog phone will always be available for 911 calls. Note: in the normal instance with power, 911 calls can be made from any IP phone in service.
